Jeremy Alberts
As Managing Attorney at BWA Law Group APC, Jeremy Alberts oversees the daily operations and strategic direction of the firm's legal team. His responsibilities include supervising case assignments, mentoring legal staff, ensuring quality control across casework, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. He understands and recognizes the talent within his team and utilizes their strengths during the process of handling matters. In addition to Mr. Alberts' managerial duties, he maintains an active civil defense practice focused on real estate litigation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defense, business and commercial disputes, and employment defense. Mr. Alberts works closely with clients to develop tailored legal strategies that minimize risk and resolve disputes effectively, while upholding the highest standards of legal and ethical practice.
He brings a personal touch to a very impersonal business and strives to adequately explain and educate his clients about their matter, so they are adequately equipped to make the best choices for themselves. Mr. Alberts practices in the areas of general civil, landlord tenant, business and real estate law, with an emphasis on litigation defense. He is a graduate of the University of La Verne College of Law (2009) and the University of North Texas (2005).

Robert Williams
As a staff attorney at BWA Law Group APC, Robert Williams currently focuses his practice on the litigation of employment, civil defense and business disputes in all state and federal courts in California. Mr. Williams began his legal career on Wall Street before moving to the prosecutor’s office. He has more than thirty years of widely varied litigation experience in courts across the US, including substantial and complex antitrust, securities and construction defect matters, as well as a civil rights defense, construction contract disputes, employer defense (wage &hour) and a variety of real estate matters. Mr. Williams is a graduate of the New York University School of Law (1984) and Miami University (1981). He is licensed to practice in New York and California.
Walter Teague
Walter Teague is a senior civil litigation attorney with over 45 years in the field. Mr. Teague concentrates his practice in representing corporations and individuals in construction defect, employment related disputes, breach of contract, and general civil defense. Before joining BWA Law Group, he began his career as a staff attorney with the Women's Law Center of Southern California. He opened his own law office and expanded his practice to include commercial litigatin, consumer advocacy, and bankruptcy. Mr. Teague is a graduate of Pepperdine University Law School (1975) and graduated with a bachelor's degree from California State University Long Beach (1972).
Randell Hong
As an associate attorney at BWA Law Group APC, Randell Hong’s cases have ranged from debt collections to business litigation and real property disputes.
Prior to law school, Mr. Hong received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Entrepreneurial Management at Cal State University San Bernardino (2010). Over the next decade, he ran his own IT company and provided guidance to struggling companies as a consultant to avoid shut down.
In 2019, Mr. Hong attended Trinity Law School receiving multiple awards for highest graded student in Torts, Constitutional Law, Community Property, Wills and Trusts, and Legal Research and Writing. Additionally, during his law school career Mr. Hong was invited to join the staff of Trinity Law School’s Law Review and Moot Court team. In his first Moot Court competition, Mr. Hong and his team won a briefing award out of 40 competing teams from all over the United States. He is a graduate of California State University of San Bernardino (2011) and Trinity Law School (2021).

J. Michael Echevarria
As a senior civil litigation attorney with almost four decades of experience, J. Michael Echevarria focuses much of his practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, both in state and federal courts. Over the years, he has handled partnership disputes, corporate mismanagement claims, lawsuits for and against local governments, franchise issues, real property cases, unfair competition, trademark infringement, antitrust claims, business fraud and the like. He has a number of reported decisions involving substantial amounts in controversy from the time when he represented the FDIC and FSLIC. He is also a former professor of law who taught Contracts, Remedies and Civil Rights. He is the author of three law review articles and has testified before the U.S. Senate on matters of banking reform. Mr. Echevarria is a graduate of Harvard Law School (1983) and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Highest Honors from UCLA (1980).
Nina Hawkinson
As of-counsel at BWA Law Group APC, Nina Hawkinson concentrates her practice in representing corporations in personal injury and premises liability claims, as well as contractors and subcontractors in construction related matters. She previously worked at a firm that litigated fraudulent insurance claims exclusively; and, prior to that she was an advocate for tenants living in housing that was subject to the Los Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance.
Before going to law school, Ms. Hawkinson worked as an Associate Project Manager for a major general contractor based out of New York City. She is also a California State Licensed Broker. She is able to apply the practical knowledge she has gained from these areas to the legal principles she uses to defend contractors, subcontractors and real estate owners now. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont (May 2003) and the University of La Verne College of Law (Cum Laude) (May 2009).
